About the Role
The Administrative Hearing Officer is responsible for conducting formal hearings related to labor disputes, permit denials, and other administrative claims. This role presides over hearings, pre hearing conferences, and legal motions, rules on evidentiary matters, and issues administrative orders. The position also hears appeals when assigned and provides legal guidance on case disposition and procedural matters.
Requirements
Preside over administrative hearings and pre hearing conferences.
Rule on motions, evidence, and procedural matters.
Draft and issue administrative decisions and orders.
Hear appeals of cases originally decided by other officers when assigned.
Provide legal and procedural recommendations to the agency.
Perform related duties as required.
About the Company
Education:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution required.Experience:
At least five years of experience in legal or administrative roles such as attorney, judge, or a comparable position.Skills:
Strong ability to analyze legal issues and apply administrative and procedural law effectively.
