About the Role
The Chief Engineer leads the Water and Wastewater Engineering Division and is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of critical utility infrastructure projects. This role provides technical leadership, manages engineering teams, and ensures the delivery of sustainable, high quality water and wastewater systems that support long term environmental and community needs in the Northern Mariana Islands.
Requirements
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and technical staff
• Oversee engineering projects from planning and design through construction and completion
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in water and wastewater systems
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Support long term infrastructure planning and capital improvement programs
About the Company
Professional License:
• Licensed Professional Engineer through NCEES
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
Industry Experience:
• Ten or more years of experience in utility, water, or wastewater engineering with a strong background in project leadership
Project Leadership:
• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure and engineering projects
Legal Eligibility:
• Valid CNMI or United States driver’s license
