
Position Overview
The Administrative Hearing Officer is responsible for conducting formal hearings related to labor disputes, permit denials, and other administrative claims. This role presides over hearings, pre hearing conferences, and legal motions, rules on evidentiary matters, and issues administrative orders. The position also hears appeals when assigned and provides legal guidance on case disposition and procedural matters.

Draft and issue administrative decisions and orders

Provide legal and procedural recommendations to the agency

Rule on motions, evidence, and procedural matters

Hear appeals of cases originally decided by other officers when assigned
