About the Role

The Sr. Electrical Engineer will design and develop electrical systems for a wide range of factory automation and industrial integration projects. This role includes creating circuits, panels, enclosures, and cabling for PLC-based control systems, Ethernet communications, robotics, and power distribution. The engineer will also provide guidance on system assembly and collaborate closely with management, engineering teams, and vendors to ensure successful integration of industrial systems.

Requirements

  • Design electrical circuits, panels, enclosures, and cabling for factory automation and industrial systems

  • Develop PLC-based control systems and integrate industrial machinery and safety components

  • Collaborate with management and engineering teams to define requirements and system specifications

  • Advise on assembly, installation, and integration of newly designed systems

  • Work with vendors to identify components and provide support for purchased electrical equipment

  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, panels, enclosures, and cabling

  • Utilize electrical schematic capture and mechanical CAD tools to develop complete system designs

  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools

About the Company

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering


Experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering related to factory automation and industrial system integration


System Integration Skills
• Integrate machinery and safety components into automation systems
• Design PLC-based factory control systems


Technical Skills
• Proficient in electrical schematic software (AutoCAD, Visio, or similar)
• Proficient in mechanical CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor)
• Skilled with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of electrical assembly, panels, enclosures, and cabling


Collaboration and Vendor Management
• Work with teams to develop system requirements
• Liaise with vendors to select and support components
